 What Does Marketing  Really Mean

When you are starting into a new business the first thought is,  "I have to get my product out there in front of  people, tell them how good it is, how healthy it is for them. I have to convince them they really need my product."

That is the old school offline way of marketing, it won't work with internetwork marketing and it never did work well with offline marketing. Less than three percent of those marketing product or direct selling product ever made a better than average income. Out of that three  percent, only a handful have ever made it to the top.

When you begin your new business you need to start with a plan.  First you need to realize that this is not something that is going to happen over night. If you are going to work at your new business part time, you will need to devote at least ten to fifteen hours a week to it. Anything less than that you may become discouraged and give up all together.

A Good Illustration

Did you ever see a spider that seemed to be dangling in mid air and blowing in the wind? Did you ever wonder what he was doing?  He was  using the wind to blow him to a nice spot where he could collect a lot of insects for food. When he finds that place he starts building a foundation for his web and his home. That little creature may spend days   just building a foundation before he can even begin thinking about building a web to collect food for himself.

Spend Some  Time Preparing To Build

Think of yourself as that spider, plan to build a good foundation for your business. We are not blowing in the wind cruising around looking for a likely spot to build our business, no, we have a plan. We start searching for educational materials to help us understand what Internetwork Marketing is all about.  Ann Sieg wrote a book that really stirred up the  entire Internetwork Marketing community, and the offline marketing community as well. It has been in print for nearly a year now The Renegade Network Marketer it has changed the way internetwork marketing will be done for decades. This is the beginning of our foundation building. There are any number of other books that are available online, but most are not very good, they really don't tell you very much. A couple that I have in my library and refer to quite often are"Building On A Budget" I found it to be quite helpfull.  Another is "Magnetic Sponsoring" by the same author. I read both books and reread them several times and find them very helpfull. The one I have on my desk all the time is "The Renegade Network Marketer" it is the easiest to read and understand.

If you need any help or have a need for more information please give me a shout. The only cost will be the time it takes to send an email

Marketing Begins With Selling Yourself

Marketing begins by selling yourself, your work mates or your "TEAM." Before  people will contact you they need to know who you are, are you a professional they can put their faith in. What do you Know about Internetwork marketing that you can teach them. Will you be available when they  have a problem that needs an answer right away.

Educating consumers why and how you can do a better job of helping them to get established in their business is a must, because there are thousands of  your competitors out there trying to do the same thing. Sell yourself first, help people become comfortable with you as a person who has excellent and knowledgeable advice to offer.

You do your educating by creating content [ like this page] that has valuable information a person can use to build his or her own business.

Next let's talk about building a foundation for the web you are going to build. The first suggestion is a website of your very own. There are any number of sites on the internet you can use to promote your online business, but on most of them your are limited as to how you can use them, but you do need them for good exposure.

Nothings compares to a website of your own to use as you see fit. I am going to provide you with a link to a website provider that is very inexpensive, and it is something that you can build yourself with the instruction provided You won't have to hire a webmaster to do it for you,  and it ranks in the top thirty percent of all websites. You will want to take your time and really study what this site building program has to offer, It is called  SBI or. SITE BUILD IT  This should be the only real expense you will incur besides any study books  you decide to buy.

I am in the process of building another site build it web site. It has been up and running for just a short time and already its generating a significant amount traffic. There are only a total of eight pages including the home page. There will eventually be over two hundred pages. I don't have any links to or from the the site yet and it's still producing traffic.

Hope your beginning to see the Webb you are going to build.  Your website will be in the  middle you will build a blog or two or three or four  these will be satellites all around you website all connected  with links like a spider web. Then further out there will be any number of social websites that you can attach to your web, and it just goes on and on until you have an organization  that is extremely far reaching.

As you learn to do these things you become the expert who new ones want to attach themselves to. You start marketing yourself, you begin writing about the things you know, your expertise continues to grow and grow.

At some point people are going to want to know how you make a living doing this, at that point  you become a salesman who doesn't have to sell anything,  they already want what you have.

Now your responsibility becomes that of a trainer , teaching those who join your business opportunity to teach others to do internetwork marketing the same way you do and the same way your tutor taught you. Your business just continues to grow and grow and I am sure that is what you would like to happen.
